Ayer estaba embolado y decidí entrar a revolver algo de los discos de rock Uruguayo, que hacía pila no escuchaba nada. Y me encontré unos que tenía de los Estómagos, los puse, y acá estoy  ¿?Los Estómagos fue un grupo de rock uruguayo, surgido en el año 1983. Fue uno de los principales grupos de la movida de rock uruguayo post-dictadura. Su estilo musical se basó en la música punk y post-punk de los años '80s, contando también con una fuerte influencia del rock español de esa época. Y como todos sabrán, luego de un tiempo, rajaron al Hueso (el bajista) al carajo por conflictos personales e hicieron Buitres, Ranti's Dream ¿? Van los discos Tango que me hiciste mal - (1985)  1. Nunca me gustaron Los Estómagos, aunque no escuché demasiado los temas que escuché me embolaron, en general el rock uruguayo no me gusta. |

scarecrow, alguna vez fuiste al tributo de los estómagos que se hace todos los años sobre setiembre? (: Ahh y si,la tapa es otra (: la de la muñeca  pero yo tampoco la encontre e__e

Del rock Uruguayo, me parece de lo mejor que alguna vez hubo. Y eso que me gustan pocas bandas. Además, no es lo que ahora se denomina "rock" (NTVG, La Vela Puerca, etc). Es una banda de ROCK. Las letras encaran mucho y la música es simple pero muy buena, aunque si no te gusta el rock uruguayo de los 80, no creo que te vaya a gustar xD Y Arctic, nunca fui al tributo. Es más, ni sabía que había uno xD Pero me interesa, quizás vaya si este año se hace

Ustedes porque son chiquitos y no se acuerdan pero este tipo de bandas supieron dominar la escena musical aca antes de que se viniera el puto pop latino. Los estomagos, los tontos, nickel, etc. |

Hace un tiempo intenté que me gustara, pero por más que lo hice nunca me terminó de convencer, uno de los géneros que más supe escuchar es el punk, y siempre me pareció que hay un largo trecho entre la música de los estómagos y el punk, aunque más alla del genero no me gusta la banda, debe ser un perjuicio creado por mi desagrado a buitres. Pero es una opinión personal igual, tampoco me parece una banda espantosa, como si me parece Trotsky. |

Los estómagos, Los Tontos, Los Traidores, Neoh 23,etc. Fueron y serán las mejores bandas uruguayas por lejos, son otros estilos y otro tipo de música, y por sobre todo..vivimos en épocas diferentes, lo que cantaban los estómagos en esa época, estaba MUY sarpado, eran otras mentalidades, es lo único bueno del Uruguay, las bandas Post Punk de los 70' y 80's. |

Mis bandas uruguayas favoritas son de esa época, las que dijo Arctic y Zero, ADN, Chicos Eléctricos, Alvacast, Cadáveres Ilustres, etc. Los ochenta fueron la mejor época del rock uruguayo, sin duda. |
